Traditional Board and Train Programs

Too busy to train your new family member? Then choose from one of our board and train options. We take the work out of shaping a pleasurable family dog. Your dog will live with us for a month (28 days) and will learn using positive training methods. Play time is also a part of the program. Training will be enjoyable. There are three levels to choose from.

  • Basic Level
    • Heel on Leash
    • Sit on Command
    • Down on Command
    • Sit Stay
    • Down Stay
    • Come on Command

Your dog will be worked with up to three times daily. They will also have social time and play time. I also crate train and house break (house breaking does not have a guarantee). I include two follow up sessions (one is when I return your dog to reintroduce it to its permanent home) so you can learn how to work with your dog and its new knowledge. The second class is about 7 - 10 days later to fine tune dog handling. 

  • Intermediate Level

    • Beginning off leash work
    • Lay down command

This program is five weeks long. The addition of the lay down command is a handy command to help maintain sanity. Your dog will now stay out of under foot while you work in the kitchen or just need some quiet time. The fifth training week reinforces the basic training for a solid foundation.

In the advanced program your dog stays in the home and is taught house manners. Your dog will also be taught to ignore distractions in live situations. Owner requested training. This is the ultimate training program. Your dog learns to really be a pleasant member of the family by living and learning in a family environment.
